Livingtrustarizona.com is a website of Four Peaks Planning, Inc., a Phoenix-based estate planning firm specializing in revocable living trusts. Specifically, we aim to help families under the federal estate tax limit ($5M for single people, $10M for married couples in 2011 and 2012) prepare documents to ensure families aren't consumed with problems that arise without documents and a plan in place. Four Peaks Planning, Inc. started in 2004 when owner, Jamie Kahn, used his experiences with one of Arizona's larger estate planning firms to improve the estate planning process for the typical Arizona family. The formula to improve the process has three parts:
Mr. Kahn was born in Fort Wayne, IN and grew up in Wisconsin. He is the son of a family law attorney/mediator and a college teacher. Mr. Kahn earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. The degree's math and logic translates well to estate planning with its focus on contingencies and probabilities. Shortly after moving to Arizona he joined a estate planning firm in Scottsdale. After several years he began his own firm in 2004. In his free time, Mr. Kahn is a youth soccer coach with Young Champions of America and previously coached youth basketball at the YMCA. In 2005, he started a volunteer small business marketing and brainstorming group, AzEPS, to help new businesses succeed in the Phoenix area.
